78 Days’ Productivity-Linked Bonus Approved — Maximum ₹17,951 Per Employee

New Delhi: The Central Government has brought good news for railway employees ahead of the Dussehra festival by approving a Productivity-Linked Bonus (PLB) equivalent to 78 days’ wages for eligible railway staff. The decision is expected to benefit approximately 11.40 lakh railway employees across the country.

The government has allocated ₹2,009.61 crore for the bonus payments. Eligible employees will receive a maximum bonus of ₹17,951 each, providing financial relief during the festive season.

The bonus will benefit eligible non-gazetted railway employees working in various departments, including loco pilots, train managers, station masters, technicians, track maintainers and pointsmen, subject to the applicable eligibility criteria.

The approval ahead of Dussehra is expected to bring cheer to railway employees and their families. The bonus recognises the contribution of railway staff in maintaining train operations, passenger services and freight transportation across the country.

Employees are advised to check official Railway Ministry announcements and departmental communications for confirmation of the payment schedule.
